Parker Design Group worked with Ziff Real Estate Partners on this building conversion project. The plan consisted of converting an existing car dealership building to a self storage facility and constructing a new 14,500 sf pre-fabricated metal building on a portion of the site. A special use permit was required by Roanoke City for this particular project. The finished product included 547 individual storage units covering 50,300 sf and allowed for 32 parking spaces, associated utilities and stormwater management facilities.

Parker Design Group conducted a topographic and boundary tie-in survey of approximately 3.5 acres. Upon completion of the survey, we prepared a conceptual plan showing planned improvements and then provided stormwater services by providing weekly Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan (SWPPP) inspections.
