Going Above and Beyond
We’re more than just a civil engineering and land surveying firm, we’re your neighbors. We take great care to contribute to our community both on and off the job. By enabling our team to contribute and partnering with meaningful causes, we give employees a path to feel like they’re part of something bigger while also improving lives for those around us.
Building a Great Community Through Service
We believe that contributing to our community is the key to being a great neighbor. We donate our time, energy, and finances to several great causes, including Fisher House, SASS Go, Families of the Wounded, and ASK Childhood Cancer Foundation. And we don’t just offer our services, we also give our employees time off to volunteer in the community.
We serve as youth baseball coaches, as board members at our churches and as committee members of our regional stormwater advisory board in addition to volunteering our time for the SPCA fundraiser and donating blood to the American Red Cross.
Giving Back to Our Neighbors
We were honored to donate our skills to survey and certify the world’s largest awareness ribbon for ASK Childhood Cancer Foundation to help prepare it for submission to the Guinness Book of World Records.
PDG participates in the Adopt-A-Street program sponsored by Clean Valley Council and Roanoke Stormwater, picking up trash in order to help keep the Roanoke River clean.
We do a Reverse Advent Calendar Food Drive every December, collecting kid-friendly food for over 150 Franklin County students. This food helps the students eat breakfast and lunch at home over Winter Break.
We have supported and participated in the South Richmond Rotary Club Casino Night for countless years helping to raise over $100,000 for the Fisher House and Families of the Wounded.

Please thank the two survey men for coming out and helping us proceed in getting a fence. They were very kind, came in a timely manner and gave advice. Appreciate it!
